Mikey has over 22 years professional experience throughout the UK, teaching at his own clubs, guest teaching for other dance companies everywhere from the tip of Cornwall to the heart of Scotland, and featuring on the bill at National Jive Weekend events for organisers such as Jive Addiction, Jivetime, Party Weekender and Holiday Rock.

His reputation has also lead to him teaching overseas both for UK jive holiday groups and for local organisers.

Whilst he is renowned nationally for his cheeky humour and laid-back teaching style, at the Club level dancers know him as someone passionately committed to helping them reach their dancing goals, who always has time to break down the technicalities of a move for beginners or advanced dancers alike, or to challenge students to extend their musicality and interpretation.

His professionalism and dedication ensures that all newcomers quickly progress and soon become accomplished dancers - all whilst having a great night out!
